Mindful Consent model objectives:
Thought leadership on consent education – the Mindful Consent model
Focus on creating systemic change regarding sexual consent
Dedicated to working with diverse communities
As a psychotherapist:
I work with Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy and somatic therapeutic approaches.
I seek to work with clients who:
are survivors of sexual assault
are survivors of IPV, DV and FV
have attachment trauma
experience stigma and discrimination
have diverse sexuality, relationships and families
As a career sex worker, I bring empathy, congruence and positive regard to counselling from 26 years spent creating safety for a diversity of clients.
I’m committed to developing greater awareness of my many privileges and to practicing radical inclusion.
I acknowledge the medical institutions under which I operate as a psychotherapist actively pathologize First Nations ways of being, including Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples and I will work to mitigate this colonial practice in my capacity as a healthcare worker.

“With Mindful Consent, my motivation is to assist people to better understand their consent as part of their inalienable human rights.
We need more consent conversations in the workplace, at school and in the home - not just the bedroom.
We must find the courage to advocate for our rights to make our own decisions involving consent.”
